This exam consists of 2 essay questions worth 100 points each, for a total of 200 points toward your course grade. The exam should demonstrate your knowledge of the three learning outcomes for this course:
Recognize period costume typical of Ancient Near East, Egypt, Europe, and the United States.
Relate contextual factors of varied historical eras to the dress of those eras.
Apply the historical research method to explore historic costume topics.
Your responses to each question should be written in two well-organized short essays with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion that address all parts of the question using detailed information from course lectures and readings. Each answer should be in the range of 2 to 4 pages. You will submit your responses by uploading a single Word or similar document format that includes answers to both essay questions in a single file. You should only use the textbook and course lectures to form your responses; do not use outside sources.
