Design a PowerPoint presentation of 10–12 slides (not including title and reference slides) covering the key
research surrounding your chosen issue. This should be something you could present to a service organization
or other group you would like to inform about this issue (and are encouraged to do so after you complete your
master’s degree). Your presentation should accomplish the following:
Introduce the problem or issue.
Describe the population affected.
Share key research findings.
Summarize how organizations are addressing this issue from a prevention and advocacy perspective.
Recommend steps that need to be taken to initiate and strengthen prevention efforts in your community.
Recommend steps that need to be taken to initiate and strengthen advocacy efforts in your community (and
beyond).
Reference citations in the text of your slides as needed.
