Write a minimum 2 page paper comparing and contrasting the Democratic and Republic websites. Use the following criteria to construct your essay:
Compare and contrast both the substance and format of the websites. In other words, compare and contrast “what they had to say,” the substance, and “how the website was put together,” the format. (Hint: Your paper should focus more on the substance of the two websites)
Which website presented more information regarding policy issues? How easily were you able to access this information? What process did you go through to find the policy positions? (Hint: you may need to look in several areas of each website to find comprehensive information regarding policy positions)
Once you have discovered “how to” access the policy information on each website, you will need to compare and contrast at least TWO of the policy issues presented on the corresponding websites. Include specifics regarding these issues. For example, if you choose health care, compare and contrast the specifics of the health care policy of both parties as it is presented on their websites. Your policy discussions should be several paragraphs in length.
What does each website have to say regarding the results of the 2020 election?
Which website is more positive? More negative?
Is the website easy to follow? More user friendly?
Which website was more pleasing to the eye?
In constructing your comparison and contrast make sure that you give specific examples to back up the statements you make regarding the websites. Apply what you have read in your text and in the Lecture Notes to the websites.
