The Problems of Culture Shock when learning a second language

Compare and contrast what experts stated regarding the topic of culture shock and its stages when a learner is learning a foreign language and s/he moved to the country when this foreign language is the country’s native language. The learner can be culturally shocked regarding the customs of this new country, the food, the narrow-mindedness, the people being religious, etc. For instance, two participants in my study are Swedish and they came to Malta to work in i-gaming business and they suffered from a culture shock.
