A police psychologist

You are a police psychologist who works in-house at your local department providing training, counseling, and evaluations. The police chief is concerned
about the ability of Officer Daniels to perform as a patrol officer and has asked you to perform a fitness for duty evaluation.
Officer Daniels is a decorated patrol officer who has been working for the local police department for 7 years. In the last several months, several community
members have filed complaints against Daniels for various reasons, including the use of excessive force, sleeping on the job, and rude behavior. In addition,
in the past 2 weeks, the police chief has received information that Daniels has been slow to back up other officers when called for assistance and has arrived
to work late, looking disheveled. When Daniels started as a police officer you met a few times to discuss some family issues Daniels was experiencing but
that was over 5 years ago.
In the thread titled Research Assignment, craft a 300- to 500-word response discussing what information you would need in order to perform this evaluation,
including psychological assessments, personal records, and third-party testimony. In your response, please discuss some of the validity and reliability issues
you may face in performing this evaluation. In addition, please use one of the ethical decision making models from Chapter 4 of your text to identify and
solve any potential ethical issues that you feel may come up into play while performing this evaluation.
