Identify both qualitative and quantitative measures of the burden and/or risk of diabetes in minority and low-income populations in the United States. Explain the causal pathways by which diabetes affects these populations. Justify the prioritization of combating diabetes in minority and low-income populations and identify potential sites for intervention.
