Think about a change you have experienced or initiated. This can be a work example, or something that you have tried to change in your routines.
Was the change successful? Why or why not?
As you write your post, use the three-stage process of change from Lewin (unfreezing, changing and refreezing). In your discussion post make sure you note:
- what kind of planning and communication you experienced for the change (unfreezing),
- next, discuss what the change entailed (were there any supports as the change was happening?).
- and last, discuss what you did to help the change to “stick” (refreezing).
If this was a change that was not successful – note what was lacking in any of the three areas.
