Book Review:
You are responsible to submit a book review and to discuss the book in a Round Table discussion. You must choose a book from the list that follows. Understand that
Book Review and Book Report are different documents. Read more on how to write a book review at
https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/704/1/ .
Book Review must follow the guidelines given at the above web address. Always make a copy of your work to keep. Begin your work as soon as possible; prepare a schedule
and follow it religiously. Time flies and time management is the golden rule of our age. You are expected to complete and submit your Book Review via e-mail on the
exact date and time specified in the syllabus. Make sure to email me your work and do not forget to include your name. You should be prompt in sending your paper on
time. Late papers will not be accepted. Students sending late work receive a failing grade on that paper. Prepare to participate and discuss and answer question on
your book at the Round Table discussion. Students absent at the Round Table Discussion receive a failing grade on that paper. Excuses such as, “I did not have your
correct email address,” “My computer froze,” “My laptop was stolen,” “I emailed it to you, you must have it,” “I misspelled your name,” “My car broke down,” etc, are
unacceptable. It is your responsibility to ensure that I have received your assignments. Grades will be emailed to you approximately 10 days after submitting your
paper.
