1. Describe the how the current ISPs came to be. What, and how, have past technologies influenced the current landscape of the ISPs? Next discuss the current landscape ( environment, topology, layout) of one ISP and talk about its respective strengths and weaknesses. Finally, what could be done to improve an ISP if you were the CEO? In other words, what would you build/design/change about your ISP to improve it? 2. To clarify, what features, have been enabled as the standards have evolved for your particular selection? One which you May NOT use for this would be WIFI Standards. So I would say Wireless Routers is my technology. Then I would talk about 802.11A and what it did, the range, the bandwidth and so on. Then I would bring up 802.11N and discuss my router again, only this time talking about all the new drivers, uses and speeds I have. I might even add how the world has changed in that when 802.11A was around very few people had wireless internet, now with “N” everyone uses wireless it has become not only a formal standard but a DEFACTO standard…
