paper is an argument. And I already wrote an outline. But the outline isn't good enough. I will submit my professor's comment to you. And pleas based on my outline( you can add something) to write the essay. And this essay I choose two works, One is from the book Japanese Tales, the other is the movie called Onmyoji(you can see it from my outline). I will upload a document called Japan. You can see some of the stories from it.
talk about spirit which related to Japan’s culture. I think the author try to express the human emotion and they usually put the emotion on spirit in the novel or movie. Just like they want to express the sadness of wife, they may depict a sad ghost who want to revenge husband. And there are two works I’d like to talk about. One is from the chapter named “Yin Yang Wizardry” in <<Japanese Tales>>. In the chapter “Yin Yang Wizardry”, it talks about different kinds of stories which about ghost or magical things. However, the difference of spirits between these two works reposed on different things. The other is from the movie Onmyoji. In the movie Onmyoji, it tells about Abe no Seimei who is as a Yin Yang Master helps the court of the emperor to defend dark powers. And the dark power in this movie related to non-living things that we comprehend to ghost. Next, I’ll talk it in detail.
In the chapter “Yin Yang Master”, the spirits are more likely to express thinking of the world. The spirits in these works are not real. I think they expresses the desire of inside human world. Almost love in this book.
In the movie called Onmyoji. The spirits which shows like the bad onmoyoji give the downfall to emperor or the female ghost’s curve are express lack of their emotion. The emotion that desire the power of country. The relationship for deep love.
The spirit that works abomination and its abominable work disvovered and a faithful testimony born against it as a warning to all who profess to walk in the light of the Lord, that they keep close in spirit to the Lord and lissen [sic] not to that adulterated spirit which labours to draw from the way of truth, lest they be destroyed by it.
