Each student will choose a second “keeper” article found during his or her search of the literature. The article should be relevant to the PICOT question and current (within the past 10 years). Complete an Evidence Evaluation Table & Rapid Critical Appraisal Tool on this second article using the appropriate tool provided by the instructor. Take into account feedback received on Assignments #1 and #2. Use bullets and be very concise in development of the evaluation table. For any acronyms include a legend at the bottom of the evaluation table. Limit to 5-6 pages.

Beginning Synthesis
In narrative format, compare and contrast study #1 and #2 related to the quality of the studies, strengths and weaknesses of the studies, importance of findings, similarities, differences, gaps in knowledge of topic and implications to practice.
Use the above information to address the following three summarizing questions: 1) What are the significant results, 2) Are the results valid, and 3) Will the results assist nurses in caring for patients/families?
