Project Guidelines
Each project presentation should be approximately 10-12 slides. Please submit in Powerpoint.
There is no limit in how long each requirement should be in your project document. Please submit a Word Document or PDF.
When presenting, you will be timed to allow everyone an opportunity to present. Please do not read slides word for word – explain the slide and move on.
REQ. # DESCRIPTION POINTS
Req. 1 Show/describe your product vision and whether or not it has changed since the onset of the project and how. Present your updated product roadmap and describe
how it has evolved since the project start. ____/20
Req. 2 Present the overview of the release plan for the first release. Include the following:
• Start and end date of release
(from product roadmap) with approximate dates for any planned sprints
• Estimated team velocity (points/sprint)
• Duration of sprints defined
• Number of sprints defined ____/20
Req. 3 Present your release backlog, and sprint backlog for the first sprint, in their current states. Items in the backlog should be objective and easily mapped to
acceptance criteria. ____/20
Req. 4 Create a sprint burndown or sprint burnup chart for the first sprint, showing current progress on sprint 1 (if any). If none, show what is planned. Determine
which chart is more appropriate to share with stakeholders (or both) and explain why. ____/20
Req. 5 Identify cash inflows and outflows, as well as the estimated length of the break-even period. ____/20
Req. 6 Create a plan to collect and manage requirements, as well as communication channels among all project stakeholders throughout the project. ____/20
Req. 7 Create a plan to manage quality and support continuous improvement throughout the project. ____/20
Req. 8 Identify an area in which the team is currently deficient at delivering a good or service. Perform a make-or-buy analysis to justify how you will handle the
situation. If you decide to procure resources, explain your source selection criteria and the type of contract you will use. ____/20
Req. 9 Discuss the acceptance criteria as well as the planned testing, delivery, and integration of your product. ____/20
Req. 10 Share any lessons learned about managing an agile project. ____/20
