1. Write two lesson plans using the lesson plan template and rubric shared last week. Each lesson plan must reference at least one of the online resources we have shared in this class. The same resource cannot be used in both lessons. One lesson plan must involve a lesson in which the students get to interact with the resource, not just the teacher. 2. Use this link below as resource for the first lesson plan: http://en.linoit.com/ My teacher use it to get feedback from students and he has seen some teachers allow students to use it as a presentation and/or project tool. 3. This link below for Second lesson plan: https://tagul.com/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z3fjKwWkTg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Cmhuh39St0 EDCT 681 Online Learning Tools in Your Classroom Project Instructions Project Description: Identify an online resource and share the ways it can be used for classroom management and/or instructional purposes. An example of the tool has to be shared via an Internet link, a file or presentation showing its use; along with a two to four page summary explaining how and why the resource will be used. Total points for project are ten. Each item listed below is worth two points. 1. Project identifies a link to an online resource, a file, or presentation showing how an online tool is used. If your project is a link to an online resource, then cite the link in your summary. If your online resource allows you to create a file, then send that via Moodle or to me via email. If you decide to create a presentation, you can upload it via Moodle or send it to me via email. For example, if you use a blog, wiki or Animoto movie for your project, you can share that URL. If you select an online tool that just sharing the URL will not effectively show how you are using the tool, feel free to create a file or presentation showing how it is used. For example, you may use Fotoflexer to generate an image. You can create a PowerPoint with screen shots from an online website showing how it is being used. I am open to any ideas, as long as you can show me what you produced that you can use for classroom management or instructional purposes. Feel free to email or call me if we need to discuss. 2. Website URL, file or presentation is applicable to classroom management or an instructional purpose. At least one NETS*T and one NETS*S standard that your project addresses are referenced in your summary. These standards have been shared with you. Please reference the standard(s) and performance indicator(s). The standards are the numbered items and the performance indicators are the lettered items. 3. Summary clearly explains how this resource is being used in your educational setting and why it was chosen. 4. Participant shares personal opinion in their summary answering the following questions: a. What are some concerns you have of using your online resource in your educational setting? b. What advantages does your online resource have compared to traditional forms of classroom management and/or instructional purpose? 5. Summary is between two and four pages, double spaced, font no larger than 12 points and free of grammatical and spelling errors.
