There are a number of books in the Human Science section of the Penrhyn Road library and in Knight’s Park library which deal with these subjects along with video/DVD copies of some of the films used on the module. This is your opportunity to discover where these books and videos/DVDs are in the library. I would also recommend using the British Film Institute (BFI) Reuben library details at www.bfi.org.uk in central London - Southbank, and it is the one of the largest sources of film literature. This summative essay contributes 35% to the overall module mark. Therefore it is in your best interests to research and write a very good essay on your chosen subject. Remember every essay should have a list of references and a bibliography. Plagiarism and Collusion; You should be aware that the university takes these very seriously. You should always try to use material that is peer reviewed or from a bona fide academic/reference source. Be aware that just because it is published on the internet DOES NOT mean it is correct and accurate. You should not use non peer reviewed sources such as Wikipedia or similar sites or indeed company sites. These sites may possibly contain inaccurate and/or misleading/biased material; these sites can however give links to bona fide academic/reference source and may be consulted. Use of such sites is notgood academic practice and will result in a loss of marks.
