Legal or moral standing of hate speech and/or pornography

You are to advance your own position about the legal or moral standing of hate speech and/or pornography and offer an argument in its favor.

1. Make sure that your thesis is a moral or normative political-legal thesis
2. Demonstrate your understanding of distinctions and positions that we have covered in class, and cite the work of relevant authors from our readings
3. When necessary, incorporate substantiated empirical claims.
4. Show philosophical skills of argumentation.
   5 Read and include reference to at least one academic article that we have not covered
   I have also attached the instructions onto this order. Keep in mind that it requires 1 outside source that is a research article. Ideally, use at least 2 of the class sources. The class sources you may use are:
