Monitoring and Evaluation Plan

Case Study Exercise: Monitoring and Evaluation Plan   Order Description See attachments Case Study Exercіse: Mоnіtоring and Evaluatiоn Plan   INSTRUCTIONS: For this activity, you will develop a Monitoring Plan and an Evaluation Plan for a Case Study. You will first need to select a case study upon which to base your plans. There are several examples posted in the Case Studies folder and within the Weekly Modules on Blackboard. Imagine that you have been asked to oversee the implementation of a Monitoring Plan and an Evaluation plan for the project described in the case study. For complex case studies, you may decide to only develop plans for a component of the project. You must speak to the instructor PRIOR to deciding to do this to ensure it is appropriate and get approval to do so. You must complete BOTH the Monitoring Plan Worksheet AND Evaluation Plan Worksheet. Along with completing the worksheets, your final paper should include the following: 1. A paragraph or two summary of the project, including stakeholders, timeline, overall budget, context, etc. 2. A paragraph highlighting and explaining the key problems and strategic issues. 3. Several paragraphs explaining your Monitoring Plan, including why the components of the plan were chosen and how you would implement this plan. Reference your Monitoring Plan worksheet as necessary. 4. Several paragraphs explaining your Evaluation Plan, including why the components of the plan were chosen and how you would implement this plan. Reference your Evaluation Plan worksheet as necessary. 5. A conclusion paragraph summarizing your plans, their implementation, and how they will impact the project and future projects for the company. This is your opportunity to apply what we’ve learned in class regarding monitoring, control, and evaluation and incorporate knowledge of managing stakeholders, effective teams, EVM, and PMIS, etc. Use the written portion of your assignment to sell the reader on why you feel these are the strongest plans that can be developed to support the project and the company. Your final in-class presentation will provide a brief summary of the case and both plans.
