T​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​his module explores the purpose of a literature review in the research process and will identify the differences in the problem, purpose, objectives, and questions in quantitative and qualitative research.. Also the literature review process in quantitative and qualitative research will be compared and contrasted. Included here is the use of the hypothesis to translate the research problem and purpose. Types of variables in quantitative research will also be presented.
