Size: 12. Margins: 1 inch. - Header: No more than three lines, single spaced, to put your name, date, and assignment (Writing Assignment 2) at the top. - Length: Minimum 2 full pages/ Maximum of 3 pages. - You may not use quotes from other sources in your paper. Please make sure to submit only your own words and thoughts. Copying and pasting from any other source will be addressed as plagiarism; please contact me if you have any questions. - Use the textbook, the two articles provided, and your own thoughts for your paper. I want to hear only your thoughts on the activity/reading. You do not need to include additional sources; however, if you decide to do so, they will need to be properly cited in APA format and you must include a references list (which will not count toward your total number of pages) - Explain your answers, do not just state your answer/opinion without backing it up with something. - Submit your paper by email attachment by the posted deadline in Word format. Prior to reading the article, describe what you consider to be typical characteristics of psychopathic individuals. What behaviors do they exhibit? What are their social interactions with others like? How would you describe their personality? These are just a few questions to consider. 2. Read the following article: Berg, J. M., Smith, S.F., Watts, A.L., Ammirati, R., Green, S.E., & Lilienfeld, S.O. (2013). Misconceptions regarding psychopathic personality: Implications for clinical practice and research. Neuropsychiatry, 3, 63-74. 3. After reading the article, describe how it either supports or argues against your previous beliefs about psychopathy. Did any of the myths or facts surprise you? Why or why not? What points do you agree/disagree with? Do you believe that psychopathy is treatable? Please explain your reasoning for your points and provide examples where appropriate.
