The student will then reflect on themes covered in the class (e.g. violence, sexuality, emotion, persuasion, social learning) and how they are presented in the program. Students will choose a theory, or a combination of theories, and provide a critical critique of the program. Students must provide rationale for selecting the program, list and define the theories, and explain the relationship of the program’s themes, characters, and/or plots relate to theories of media. Include vocabulary from class content, including the textbook and lectures. I am specifically looking for connections between media content and class content.
