Rather than asking them to follow up with you after they give it away, simply ask them to whom they would give the ribbon and why. Discuss what it felt like to acknowledge these people in your life. Reflect on how such outward recognition of those who are important to us makes a difference to both the person receiving the recognition and the person giving the recognition.
