****1-page write about the result
****1- Create graph and tables using the attached data.
***2-3 pages
The results section, including exhibits) should include figures, such as tables and graphs, which are relevant to your analysis. Use appropriate labeling, as shown in the APA formatting guide. Remember to include the descriptive analysis results describing the actual population. You can include only the key analyses you wish to discuss in the actual paper.

Data & Methods
The 2011 Behavioral Risk Factor Survey System (BRFSS) data was used for this analysis. The BRFSS is a data health collection tool conducted by the use of landline telephone surveys related to health conditions for residents in all 50 states in the US including the District of Columbia and the three US territories (“Behavioral Risk Factors,” 2015). The BRFSS completes more than 400,000 adult interviews per year; the largest ongoing health survey system in the world (“Behavioral Risk Factors,” 2015). Due to the growing popularity of cell phone only households, the Centers for Disease Control recognized the need to include cell phone numbers as a part of the survey data collection process to ensure better accuracy and diversity with survey results. The new data collection methods were implemented in the fielding of the 2011 data used in this analysis (“Behavioral Risk Factors,” 2015).
The prevalence of obesity for the three different ethnic groups from all 50 states were compiled. The prevalence for obesity was then pulled for the 9 southern and 7 west coast states examined in this study for the three different ethnic groups. The mean was calculated for all 3 ethnic groups, for both respective state categories (South & West). The chi-square analytical test will be used to test the following hypothesis:
Null: Obesity rates among Non-Hispanic black adults, Non-Hispanic white adults and Hispanics are unaffected by region
Alternative: Obesity rates among Non-Hispanic white adults, Non-Hispanic black adults and Hispanics are dependent on region.
Independent Variable: Obesity. Dependent Variable: Region, Ethnicity
The chi-square test is a method used to compare the observed data with the results expected to be obtained according to the hypothesis. This statistical test was chosen because it is believed to be the most accurate test used to observe if one categorical variable is dependent on another. Differences between the groups were evaluated using p < 0.05 value.
