Please answer each question in the order that the professor wants: 1-Do the standards in the unit reflect the knowledge, understandings, and skills valued most by experts in the disciplines that they represent? 2-Are we using standards as a curriculum, or are they reflected in the curriculum? 3-Does the unit encourage �slavishly covering standards at breakneck pace� or does the unit organize standards within our curriculum so that students have time to make sense of ideas and skills? 4-Does the use of standards in this unit enliven classrooms, or do the standards �eliminate joy, creativity, and inquiry?� 5-Do standards in this unit make learning more or less relevant and alluring to students? 6-Does the way standards are used in this unit remind us that we are teaching human beings, or does it cause us to forget that fact?
