Based on your own interests in the articles we have taught in this unit, choose one of the three articles we have covered on Globalization (under unit 3 readings), Capitalism (under unit 3 readings), Orientalism (under unit 2 readings), or Media (under unit 3 readings). About half of your paper will be a summary of the article (not a summary of the lecture slides posted on Blackboard). The second half of your paper will be a critical response. You can use first person (“I”) in your writing. This is the section where you should be comment in a rational, intellectual way on the subject matter of the article. Your own personal perspective can also be included, but make sure that if you assert an opinion or observation that you substantiate or support what you are asserting. 4. The paper must also include an introduction with thesis statement, and a conclusion. Please highlight or bold your thesis statement.
